The Boston Housemusic Coalition was founded in 2001 by Dwayne Thompson, Bob Diesel, Liza Zayas, Betsy Gaston and Sammy Sueskagen. The mission of the coalition is fourfold.

To build COMMUNITY by bringing back the earlier generations of the housemusic scene and inspiring future generations.
To transmit the CULTURE from one generation to the next.
To share the philosophical and practical aspects of creating a culture based on LOVE, trust, partnership – and free of violence, fear and repression.
To experience the power of MUSIC together.
